LOGIN & REGISTRATION

Q1. How do I register for the IndusDirect App (first-time users)?

If you are a first-time user, please log in to the IndusDirect portal ( https://indusdirect.indusind.bank.in/indusdirect/auth/login ) and then register on the mobile app.

Q2. I did not receive the welcome email. What should I do?

Check your spam/junk folder first. If you still haven't received it, contact Customer Care at 1800 2660 616 or email idcsupport@indusind.com, or reach out to your Relationship Manager to resend the email.

Q3. What are Customer ID and User ID?

Every corporate customer is issued a Customer ID, and all users under that corporate are issued a User ID. Both are needed to access the IndusDirect mobile app.

Q4. Are Customer ID and User ID case sensitive?

No.

Q5. Do Customer ID and User ID have character limit?

Yes, the maximum length allowed is 15 characters.

Q6. What should I do if I forget my password?

Use the Forgot Password option on the Register screen. Enter your Customer ID and User ID to reset your password using OTP.

Q7. Can I change my registered mobile number or email ID?

Yes. To update your registered contact details, submit a request through your IndusInd Bank's branch or your Relationship Manager.

Q8. What are the rules for setting a password in IndusDirect?

Your password must be 8 to 15 characters long and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character (!, @, &, , ^).

Q9. What should I do if I get locked out after multiple failed login attempts?

Your User ID will be temporarily locked. Use the "Unlock Me" option on the registration screen to unlock your account. If this does not resolve your problem, contact Customer Care at 1800 2660 616 or email idcsupport@indusind.com for further assistance.

Q11. Can I continue using the old IndusDirect App while accessing the new IndusDirect Corporate App?

No. Once you start using the new IndusDirect Corporate App, the old IndusDirect App cannot be used.

Q12. What are the Customer ID, User ID, and Password in the new IndusDirect Corporate App?  

They remain the same as in the old IndusDirect Application.

Accounts & Portfolio

Q1. How can I view my account balance in the app?

Go to Banking Essentials (on dashboard) → Accounts to see all linked accounts and their available balances.

Q2. Can I view recent transactions for my account?

Yes, you can view the 10 recent transactions under Banking Essentials (on dashboard) → Accounts → tap on account.

Q3. How do I download a detailed account statement?

Go to Banking Essentials (on dashboard) → Accounts → Request statement. Now select your account type, account and date range to download or email the statement.

Q4. In which format can the Account Statements be downloaded?

Account Statements can be downloaded in PDF or Excel (XLS) format.

Q5. What is the period for which the Account Statement can be downloaded?

You can download the Account Statement for any period within the past one year from the current date.

Q6. What is the Portfolio section in the IndusDirect Corporate Mobile Banking app?

The Portfolio provides a consolidated view of your accounts, grouped by type such as Fixed Deposit (FD), Current, Overdraft etc. along with their available balances and other account details.

Beneficiary

Q1. How do I add a new beneficiary in the mobile app?

Go to Banking Essentials (on dashboard) → Beneficiaries → Add Beneficiary, then choose either Single Beneficiary Addition (manual entry) or Bulk Upload for multiple beneficiaries.

Q2. Can I add multiple beneficiaries at once?

Yes, you can add multiple beneficiaries with the help of the Bulk Upload option. Go to Banking Essentials (on dashboard) → Beneficiaries → Add Beneficiary, then choose Bulk Upload.

Q3. What file format is accepted for bulk beneficiary uploads?

File Format allowed for bulk beneficiary upload is .xls/.xlsx. Also, the file size should not exceed 1 MB.

Q4. What happens after I upload the file?

File moves to the authorization stage as per the user type. Once the file is approved by an authority, the beneficiary is added and can be viewed and used for payments.

Payments

Q1. What types of payments can I initiate through the app?

You can initiate payments to IndusInd Bank accounts and other bank accounts via NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS.

Q2. What are the NEFT and IMPS transfer timings and limits?

NEFT is available 24/7, including holidays, and has no minimum or maximum transfer limit.

IMPS is also available 24/7, 365 days a year, with a daily maximum limit of ₹5 Lakhs.

Q3. Can I book a Fixed Deposit (FD) through the IndusDirect Corporate Mobile Banking app?

Yes, you can initiate FD booking through the IndusDirect Corporate Mobile Banking app with the following path: Banking Essentials (on dashboard) → Fixed Deposit available in Cash Services.

Q4. What types of Fixed Deposits are available?

There are two types of deposits: short-term and long-term, with simple and compound interest options.

Q5. What are statutory payments in the IndusDirect Corporate Mobile Banking app?

Statutory payments refer to payments made to government (State and Central) authorities such as GST, Income Tax (CBDT) and MP State Tax.

Q2. What is an Interest Certificate?

Interest Certificate is a bank document showing total interest earned on deposits or paid on loans during a given period, often used for tax purposes.

Authorization

Q1. What is Beneficiary Authorization?

Beneficiary Authorization is the process of approving newly added beneficiaries before they can be used for payments.

Q2. What types of payments can be approved from the Mobile App?

The Mobile App allows users to approve all payment types initiated through Corporate Banking, including Fund Transfers, All Payment Files, and Statutory Payments.

Q3. Can File-Based Payments be approved from the Mobile App?

Yes. File-Based Payments uploaded through the IndusDIRECT portal can be viewed and authorized directly from the Mobile App, as per the organization's approval matrix.

Q4. Can multiple payments be authorized together?

Yes. The IndusDIRECT Mobile App supports bulk authorization, allowing users to select multiple pending payments and approve them in a single action.

Q5. Can partial authorization of a payment file be done?

Yes. If allowed by your company's workflow, users can perform partial authorization on a payment file by approving only specific transactions within the file.

Q6. Can transactions be rejected from the Mobile App?

Yes. Users can reject individual payments or, if permitted, partially reject selected transactions within a file. Rejection remarks can also be added during the process.

Q7. What authorization methods does the IndusDIRECT Corporate Mobile Banking App support?

Authorization can be done using the following methods:

  • MPIN + OTP (default)
  • Biometric Authentication + OTP (if enabled on the device)

This ensures two-factor authentication for secure transaction approval.

Q8. Can I authorize multiple beneficiaries at once?

Yes, you can approve or reject in bulk for faster and more efficient processing.

Q9. What is Beneficiary File Authorization?

Beneficiary File Authorization is the process of approving bulk beneficiary uploads submitted by a Maker.

Q10. What is Payment Authorization?

Payment Authorization is the process of approving initiated payment requests before they are processed by the bank. To view pending payments, go to Attention → Payment Authorization.

Q11. Can I see full payment details before approval?

Yes. You can view the debit account, beneficiary, payment type, amount, IFSC code, and other details by going to Attention → Payment Authorization and selecting the desired transaction before authorization or rejection.

Q12. Can I enquire about beneficiary status or beneficiary file status from the IndusDIRECT Mobile App?

Yes. The App provides "Beneficiary Status" section on the cash dashboard with following touchpoints:

  • Manual Enquiry (whether a beneficiary is active, inactive, disabled or rejected)
  • File Enquiry (such as Active, Failed, Under Process, or Rejected)
Q13. Can I view the payment status and history?

Yes. The App provides "Transaction Status" section on the cash dashboard with the touchpoints – Payment Enquiry, Payment History and File Enquiry.

This includes Successful payments, Failed or reversed transactions, Pending or partial authorizations, Authorized transactions and File-level history (where applicable).

Hamburger Menu

Q1. How can I reset my MPIN?

Go to Hamburger Menu → Settings → Reset MPIN. Enter your current MPIN, then create a new 6-digit MPIN. Ensure that the new MPIN is different from your last five MPINs and does not include sequential or repetitive digits.

Q2. Can I enable or disable biometric option from the mobile app settings?

Yes, you can enable or disable fingerprint or Face ID from the mobile app settings. Go to Hamburger Menu → Settings → Configure Biometric.

Q3. What is De-register Device in Settings?

It allows you to remove your device from registered access so you can log in from a new device securely.

Q4. What is Manage Accounts in the Hamburger Menu?

It lets you select the accounts you want to view and use throughout your application in Cash Services.

Q5. What is the Customize Essentials option in the Hamburger Menu and how does it work?

Customize Essentials lets you personalize and reorder frequently used services for quicker access. Changes apply only to your profile and won't affect other users in your company.

Q6. What is the Checksum option in the Hamburger Menu and why is it important?

The Checksum option displays a unique value used to verify the integrity of the IndusDirect Corporate Mobile Banking app and its data transfers. It ensures that files haven't been altered during transmission. Each app version has its own checksum value, which you can compare against the official IndusInd Bank list for verification.

Q1. What all trade products can be handled through the Mobile App?

The default authorization limit assigned is ₹10 Cr. To enhance the limit, please drop an email to your Relationship Manager or Branch and share the updated Board Resolution (BR).

Q3. Can I authorize all trade transactions through the Mobile App?

Yes, you can authorize all trade transactions through the Mobile App.

Q4. What is the maximum file size for supporting documents?

You can upload a maximum of 5 files, each up to 2 MB. The total file size must be less than or equal to 8 MB.

Q5. What file formats are accepted for uploads?

The supported file formats are:

  • PDF

Inward Remittance

Q1. What is an Inward Remittance (IR)?

An inward remittance is money received from a foreign buyer, partner, or correspondent bank into your company's account in India.

Q2. What does "Pending Credit" status mean?

It means the bank has received the funds but is waiting for your disposal instructions before crediting them.

Q3. What does "Partially Credited" status mean?

It indicates that part of the remittance amount has already been credited, while the balance is pending disposal.

Q4. Can I authorize inward remittances directly from the mobile app?

Yes. Authorized signatories can approve or reject inward remittance disposal requests using the app.

Q5. Can I attach documents while processing an inward remittance?

Yes. If required, you can upload supporting documents (such as invoices or contracts) while providing disposal instructions.

Q6. Can I search inward remittances by remitter name or amount?

Yes. The app provides filters and search options where you can search by remitter name, amount, or transaction reference.

Q7. Who can provide disposal instructions for inward remittances?

Only authorized users (e.g., Maker, Checker, or M=C roles) as defined by your corporate banking profile can submit or approve disposal instructions.

Q8. What happens after I confirm disposal instructions?

Once you submit instructions, they go for authorization (if required) and then to the bank for processing. You can track progress under Transaction Status.

Q9. What documents may be required for inward remittance disposal?

Common documents include invoices, contracts, shipping documents, or purpose declarations, depending on the nature of the transaction.

Q10. What should I do if my inward remittance is delayed?

Check the app for the status. If still pending beyond expected time, contact your Relationship Manager or use the Contact Us option in the app.

Outward Remittance

Q1. What is an Outward Remittance (ORM)?

Outward remittance refers to money sent abroad by your company for purposes such as A2 Payments, Advance Import & Direct Import Payments.

Q2. What are Purpose Codes and why are they required?

Purpose codes are RBI-mandated codes that define the reason for your remittance (e.g., import of goods, payment for services). Only permitted purpose codes are enabled in the app.

Q3. How do I know if my ORM request needs additional authorization?

If your company's workflow requires Checker or Approver validation, the transaction will show as Pending with Authorizer until approved.

Q4. What if I make a mistake in entering ORM details?

You can edit or cancel the request before final confirmation. Once submitted to the bank, you will need to contact your Relationship Manager.

Q5. What happens if my ORM request is rejected by the bank?

You can view rejected requests under Transaction Status → Rejected by Bank and re-initiate the request after resolving issues.

Q6. What are common reasons for making outward remittances?

They include import of goods, advance payments to suppliers, service payments, royalties, technical fees, and foreign investments (subject to RBI guidelines).

Q7. Do I need RBI approval for all outward remittances?

Not for all. Most remittances under permissible purpose codes can be made without prior approval, but some transactions require RBI or AD Bank approval.

Q8. What limits apply to outward remittances?

Limits depend on the type of remittance, RBI regulations, and your bank's internal policies. Please check with your Relationship Manager for transaction-specific limits.

Q9. How do I know if my ORM transaction has been successfully processed?

You will see the status updated to Processed by Bank in the app, along with transaction details.

Q10. Can I choose who bears the transfer charges?

Yes. The app lets you select OUR (remitter pays all charges), BEN (beneficiary pays all charges) , or SHA (shared charges).

Direct Export Lodgement

Q1. What is Direct Export Lodgement?

Direct Export Lodgement allows exporters to submit shipping bills and supporting documents directly through the mobile app for regularization of export transactions.

Q2. Who can use the Direct Export Lodgement feature?

It is available to corporate customers with export facilities enabled by the bank and linked to their corporate banking profile.

Q3. How do I initiate an export lodgement request?

From the Trade Dashboard → Export Lodgement, enter customer reference and shipping bill type, then search and select outstanding shipping bills or input details manually.

Q4. Can I submit both EDI and Non-EDI shipping bills?

Yes. EDI, Softex, and EDF bills can be selected online, while Courier, Post Parcel, or Non-IBL shipping bills must be entered manually.

Q5. What details are required for Non-EDI shipping bills?

You need to enter shipping bill number, date, AD code, port code, bill amount, lodgement amount, and customer reference.

Q6. Can I add drawee and shipment details in the app?

Yes. Drawee details, shipment particulars, and any additional instructions can be entered as part of the lodgement form.

Q7. Is there an option to upload supporting documents?

Yes. You can attach required documents (such as invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents) directly in the app.

Q8. What happens after I confirm lodgement?

You are shown a preview screen to verify details. Once confirmed, the request moves to the Success screen and is marked pending for further approval.

Q9. Why do exporters need to lodge shipping bills?

Lodging ensures that export proceeds are properly tracked, matched against remittances, and reported to regulatory authorities, avoiding compliance issues.

Q10. What are the benefits of using DEL on mobile banking?

Financing

Q1. What is Pre-Shipment Finance?

Pre-shipment finance (also called export packing credit) is a short-term loan provided to exporters to finance the purchase, processing, and packing of goods before shipment.

Q2. What types of pre-shipment finance can be requested in the app?

You can request:

  • PCINR (Packing Credit in Indian Rupees)
  • PCFC (Packing Credit in Foreign Currency)
Q3. Who is eligible to apply for pre-shipment finance?

Exporters with sanctioned trade credit limits from the bank and valid access in the mobile banking app.

Q4. How can I initiate a pre-shipment finance request?

From the Trade Dashboard → Export Packing Credit, select financing type, fill in loan details (amount, tenure, goods description, etc.), upload documents, and confirm.

Q5. What details are required for PCFC applications?

Applicants must provide currency type, financing amount, account number, FX details, tenure date, maturity date, and goods description.

Q6. Do I need to upload documents with my request?

Yes. Supporting documents (like purchase orders, export contracts, invoices) can be uploaded directly in the app.

Q7. What happens after I submit my finance request?

The system generates a preview for confirmation. After submission, the request goes for authorization (if applicable) and then to the bank for processing.

Q8. Why do exporters need pre-shipment finance?

Exporters often need working capital to buy raw materials, process goods, or pack consignments before receiving payment from buyers. Pre-shipment finance helps bridge this gap.

Q9. Can I track the status of my pre-shipment finance request?

Yes. You can view the request under Transaction Status → Pending with Authorizer, Pending at Bank, Processed, or Rejected.

Q10. How do I know when my loan is disbursed?

Once approved and disbursed, you'll receive a success notification in the app, and the loan amount will be credited to your account.

EEFC Conversion

Q1. What is an EEFC account?

An EEFC (Exchange Earners' Foreign Currency) account is a bank account where exporters can hold foreign currency earnings without converting them immediately into INR.

Q2. What is EEFC Transfer Initiation in the app?

It allows customers to transfer funds from their EEFC account to their INR current account (or between accounts) directly through the mobile app.

Q3. Who can use the EEFC Transfer feature?

Corporate customers who maintain an EEFC account with the bank and have trade module access in the mobile app.

Q4. How do I initiate an EEFC transfer?

From the Trade Dashboard → EEFC Transfer, select debit EEFC account, credit account, enter amount, FX/Forward deal ID (if applicable), other details and confirm.

Q5. What details are required for EEFC transfers?

You must provide EEFC account number, credit account number, transfer amount, FX/Forward Deal ID, customer reference, and any additional information.

Q6. Can I attach documents to an EEFC transfer request?

Yes. The app allows you to upload relevant supporting documents if required by the bank.

Q7. What happens after I confirm the transfer?

You will see a preview screen. Once confirmed, the request is submitted for authorization and then processed by the bank.

Q8. Can I make partial transfers from my EEFC balance?

Yes. You can transfer any portion of your EEFC balance to your INR account, depending on your company's requirements.

Q9. What are the key benefits of using the app for EEFC transfers?

It allows you to check pending inward remittances by reference number, date, amount, or status (unutilised, partially utilised, completed, cancelled).

Q9. What is a Shipping Bill (SB)?

Attention

Q1. What does “Pending IRM Disposal” mean?

It refers to inward remittances (IRMs) received by the bank but awaiting your disposal instructions before credit can be given.

Q2. Can I view IRM details before disposal?

Yes. You can view details like remitter name, amount, currency, and reference number before confirming disposal instructions.

Q3. What does “Pending for My Approval” mean?

It lists all transactions awaiting your authorization or rejection, based on your user role (Checker/Approver).

Q4. How do I approve or reject transactions in this section?

Select the transaction → review details → tap Approve or Reject.

Q5. Can I filter transactions under Pending for My Approval?

Yes. You can sort or filter by transaction type, date, or amount to quickly locate pending approvals.

Q6. Will I be notified of new approval requests?

Yes. Notifications are sent whenever a transaction requires your approval.

Q7. What is FX Booking in the Attention section?

It lets you book foreign exchange (FX) deals against eligible transactions like IRMs or ORMs.

Q8. How do I initiate FX booking in the app?

From Attention → Book FX, select transaction type (IRM/ORM), apply filters, select the required deal and continue to book FX.

Q9. What does “Action Required” mean?

It highlights transactions that need further input from you.

Q10. What is the Event Calendar in the Attention section?

It provides a calendar view of trade-related events and transactions.

Q11. What views are available in the Event Calendar?

You can view events by Day, Week, Month, or select a Custom Range.

Transaction Status

Q1. What is the Transaction Status feature in the Trade module?

It allows you to track the progress of your trade transactions in real time, from initiation to completion or rejection.

Q2. What categories of transaction status are available?

Transactions are grouped under:

  • Pending with Authorizer
  • Pending at Bank
  • Processed by Bank
  • Rejected by Bank
Q3. What does "Pending with Authorizer" mean?

It means the transaction is awaiting approval from an internal Checker/Approver within your company.

Q4. What does "Pending at Bank" mean?

It indicates the request has been submitted and is under review/processing by the bank.

Q5. What does "Processed by Bank" mean?

It means the bank has successfully completed the transaction, and the outcome (e.g., remittance or lodgement) is confirmed.

Q6. What does "Rejected by Bank" mean?

It means the bank has declined the transaction. The rejection reason will be displayed in the app, and you may need to resubmit.
